As a profession, we see how people get harmed and where things could be unsafe. As members of the community, we try and use our experience to help avoid harm and to make our communities safer. We recognize that good citizenship reaches beyond the office and into our schools and neighborhoods.

Our personal and professional goal is to make our communities safer and to positively effect the lives of the people we meet.

We are frequently asked to share our knowledge in speaking before schools, groups and civic organizations. We recognize that we aren't always successful in our efforts, and that in spite of our best efforts some people will take risks and make the less than safest decision, and their conduct might harm someone.
